My Thoughts:
So at first I gave this book 3 out of 5 stars and changed it to 4 out of 5 stars.
It started out really slow and I've attempted to read this book before but couldn't get through it. I had tried to read her other book Shiver and I didn't finish because it was sooooo....STUPID and then I read her The Scorpio Races and wasn't that impressed (I finished it and gave it a 3/5 stars) so I was really skeptical about this one. I keep hearing about it so FINALLY after a failure to get into it the first time attempted and made it through and ended up liking it a lot! :)
I was impressed with all the fun unique names, Blue, Gansey, Declan, Persephone, Ronan thrown with normal names such as Noah, Peter, and Adam. I like the complication of everything. The story being told from different perspectives, generally I wouldn't like that but in this book I enjoyed it. Maggie did a great job of keeping each voice his/her own and each character had such a UNIQUE and DIFFERENT personality that I really enjoyed each perspective. I enjoyed the "treasure hunt" and mystery of the entire story. I like how the romance was VERY subtle and it didn't overwhelm or take over the story.
I will read the 2nd book because of how Maggie wrote this book and left SO MUCH unsaid and undone.
