My Thoughts:
So, here's the thing: This book was just creepy. It was borderline horror. Lord of the Flies meets X-Men meets Goosebumps.
And it was really long.
I liked all the characters. They all made sense and acted like normal people, which is always nice. I read the whole book, which is saying something, I guess. There was no real language or anything sexual or anything, so it's got that going for it, even though there was a lot of violence and disturbing/scary imagery.
But then nothing was explained at the end. Total Cliffhanger. And there are, what, five other books in the series? If I want to find out what this FAYZ thing is I'm going to have to read five more really long, convoluted, creepy books?
Um, no. I don't see that happening.
