Book Review: Better Off Friends By: Elizabeth Eulberg

COMING SOON: FEBRUARY 25, 2014
Book Description:
For Macallan and Levi, it was friends at first sight. Everyone says guys and girls can’t be just friends, but these two are. They hang out after school, share tons of inside jokes, their families are super close, and Levi even starts dating one of Macallan’s friends. They are platonic and happy that way.

Eventually they realize they’re best friends — which wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t keep getting in each other’s way. Guys won’t ask Macallan out because they think she’s with Levi, and Levi spends too much time joking around with Macallan, and maybe not enough time with his date. They can’t help but wonder . . . are they more than friends or are they better off without making it even more complicated?

From romantic comedy superstar Elizabeth Eulberg comes a fresh, fun examination of a question for the ages: Can guys and girls ever really be just friends? Or are they always one fight away from not speaking again — and one kiss away from true love?

My Thoughts:
This I would go out and own. It was clean and just so freaking cute! I loved it! I'm so happy I was able to get this early and share with you guys how wonderful this book was! It was just...darling!

I think that it is one of the cutest and sweetest books I've ever read! Better Off Friends is told in alternating narratives and with this book many or everyone can relate to the plot-set up. The main characters Macallan and Levi are two best friends- but they're a boy and girl best friend. I think that Elizabeth Eulberg did a FABULOUS job making this a truly relatable story about a boy-girl friendship. Many people will love this book because they will be able to relate when people constantly asked you "Oh, are you guys dating?" then you say no, and then it gets awkward. you know?

Anyways, it's goes through the time when Levi and Macallan meet and becoming friends and then best friends, what brought them together and what kept them together. Through their fights, each other's girlfriends/boyfriends and finding their one true love.

I recommend this book to all ages because it was super cute and clean! and those are rare to find!
